American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 4:30 am–2 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. We like to try out local donut shops when we travel. This one came up as very popular. It was busy, but I didn't have to wait. They have a good balance of people working versus amount of customers. Young man that helped me was clean cut and friendly. The donuts were very good. I also got an iced Americano it was good as well. Atmosphere I only gave 4 stars, but only because there was nothing unusual. It was set up like most donut shops. It was clean and a nice space.

I love good donuts. Had my car serviced down the street saw Donut Island as I was driving on Cherry Ave. Decided to put my steps in. Place is small, not a huge selection of donuts. Donuts were ok, better than the ones at 7-11 but not by much. Coffee is self service they place them in a carafe, I chose one flavor it was out so I had to mix it with another. I guess they get their business by selling breakfast bagels and sandwiches. Next time I'll try the burger shop across the street.

Awesome sandwich, and they even gave me a free donut. Was having a horrible morning but this turned it around

I’ve been coming to this donut shop for years, and it has truly become one of my favorite spots. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, professional, and they make you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time visiting. The donuts are always fresh and deliciousβ€”you can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. Beyond the donuts, they also offer a nice variety of items on their menu, so there’s always something new to try. Everything I’ve had has been consistently good. They also serve bagel sandwiches, and they are absolutely delicious. My go-to is the #9: turkey, lettuce, cheese, pepperoncinis, pickled jalapeΓ±os, mayo, and mustard on an everything bagel. It hits every time. It’s rare to find a place that balances great customer service, cleanliness, and great food all in one, but this shop manages to do it perfectly. Whether I’m grabbing something quick in the morning or picking up a box to share with family and friends, I know I can count on this place. Definitely a local gem worth visiting!

This place has some very good donuts and a good selection of other items. They have a variety of coffee, both hot and cold. Their donuts are fresh, soft, and just the right batter consistency to make them perfect. They serve other food items, so if you are not in the mood for just donuts, they have great ham and cheese croissants, other breakfast sandwiches, and if you need other items they have a small selection of goods you can purchase there. The staff always greats you with a smile and they are very patient even when they have lots of customers. This is one of 2 places I go for donuts, there is something sweet or savory for everyone!
